• Family

  Mika's immediate family consists of his wife, Ana Drakfass, and their terrifyingly intelligent mixed-order kit, Vera. The rest of his family is based out of Alston, near Malgrave along the coast. They are an educated and wealthy merchant class typically employed in bureaucracy, the majority of whom weathered the storm of rebellion. The heir to his family's modest wealth (and, more importantly, social network) is his brother, Petteri. The two males could be twins, so similar are they in appearance, both taking after their father, Tomas.
  
  Mika's mother, Keldi, used to send him small packages of homemade food when his life took him on the road. The frequency depended upon when she could ensure that it would arrive without spoiling. Fortunately, he no longer relies on her to send him new clothing; he has a valet for that now, a far cry from the furtive life he once led.

• History

  Initially under the cover of bureaucracy--he liked to note that he is very good with numbers, and could ensure a herbivore could pay their unjust taxes and still eat--Mika operated on behalf of the Rebellion and the rightful Queen for over a decade. His devoted service lost him portions of his paws and his one good eye, as well as earning him a collection of torturous scars which he keeps concealed beneath his clothes. A return to more cautious behaviour kept him safe as he aided in managing necessary logistics through the remainder of the rebellion.
  
  With the tyrant king at last vanquished, he need no longer hide in the shadows and has taken up the role of Personal Secretary to his beloved monarch and long-time friend, Queen Andrazeli. Any notion that they are more than friends are nothing more than frivolous castle gossip.
